Grew up in Connecticut and have an amazing father Acton Tsonga who is also one of my best friends.
Acton Tsonga attended the University of Massachusetts where he met Tiyanjane’s mother while she attended Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. Tiyanjane Tsonga was born in Northampton, Massachusetts.
He Graduated from Thomas Snell Weaver High School and immediately began studies at a community college. Tiyanjane also studied overseas at the University of Cape Town, and eventually graduated from NYU.
“During the infancy of my journalism program at New York University, I started my own business offering media services, promotional content, and sharing my new media expertise. As a reporter, I grew into profile reporting, specializing in profiling successful entrepreneurs. Some of my fondest interviews were with bootstrapping alumni from top-ranked business schools who launched their own successful ventures.
In their spare time, Tiyanjane enjoys hiking, tennis, and spending time with the family dog. Tsonga also makes charitable contributions to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, SAGE, GLAAD, New York University, University of Cape Town
